Hysterectomy done alone is associated with increased health risks in the long-term

Doing a hysterectomy with ovarian conservation, especially for women who undergo hysterectomy before 35 years of age, is associated with a significantly increased risk of several cardiovascular diseases and metabolic conditions, as per a study published January 3, 2018 in the journal Menopause.
